100th Post

location: UCR Coffee bean
suppose to be doing: study guide for English midterm tomorrow

i looked up from reading, and saw this couple. indie, hipster like... she tip toed and kissed him on the cheek. he looked at her and smile.
simple actions like that makes my day. it gives me hope that sweet innocent interactions still exist in this world. (of course i have no idea what the couple does behind the door...) but i love the "not so" Personal Display of Affection. not so according to society these days. i hate seeing people make out in public. really?
but those interactions the pecks here or there, hand holding, a little cuddling. brings a smile to my face.
however, i hate doing PDA. everything. except maybe holding hands. but i guess it is because of the four years of band and the strict NO PDA rule. habit i guess.

you went back and counted?
.. i always thought PDA= public display of affection.. haha

freedom? well things are better than they used to be. but really America was never the basis of freedom.. its more like it was a land that all the people that didnt like things in England could run to.
we started off by kicking the natives out of their land. and... i could go on but you were in AP US with me so you should know this stuff anyways :]

basically.. America is just another place in the world with its own culture.
you cant really personify a country.. and the people in power dont always reflect the peoples desires.

most of the people who want to be leaders have SOMETHING that made them want that kind of power in the first place.. and its not always a selfless serve-the-people kind of motive.
the best leaders are people like George Washington who didnt even really want that power in the first place.

California isnt such a bad place to live :]
but... theres just something amazing about seeing the world and the different ways people experience life in different countries.

now to go back to my essay and not write anything at all despite just writing this long-ass comment :)
